FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)?
ABA is designed to help your child develop the verbal and social skills necessary to move from being motivated primarily by sensory and motor stimuli in the environment to being motivated mainly by verbal and social interactions with other people. The goal is to improve cognitive, language, social, and self-help skills. During ABA therapy, baselines are established to set goals broken down into small steps. The steps are organized logically and taught one at a time.
2What Insurance Providers do you take at Limitless ABA?
We accept all major insurance carriers like United, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Tricare and others. We also service clients with ALL Missouri Medicaid branches, as well as all divisions of Kancare.
3What times are you open?
Our clinics are open from 8:00 am until 4:00pm.
4What Age Groups do you service?
We service mainly children 8 years or under. We will go as high as 12 years old, but can offer lead sources for older children as well.
5How does your wait list work?
Our wait list is a first come first serve type of wait list. We will not keep children on our waitlist for years either. If we cannot service your child on a reasonable timeline (usually six months of less) we will forward you names of other ABA providers in the area.
6What is your sign up process?
The sign up process is real easy. You can either fill out a contact form on the website, or call one of our local offices and speak to an intake coordinator. We then find out about your kiddo and determine potential schedule with the guardian. We then do a benefits check with your insurance company, and give you an expected wait list time period, if nothing is available.
7What is early intervention? Why is it necessary?
Research shows that early intervention for autism – which is treatment at the earliest possible age – is likely to have major long-term positive effects on the child’s symptoms and skills later in life. Ideally, early invention for autism occurs at or before preschool age, when the child’s brain is still forming.
